“Good design has always been part of the way I see art and create art. Many of the same principals apply to both graphic design and fine art: balance, composition, contrast, etc. They all play a role. Today, when I work in my signature sculptural painting style, my experience as a designer comes into “play” with every new work of art.” Andrew Csafordi
- For the past 20 years, Andrew has led encaustic painting, drawing, paper-maché and urban art (graffiti) classes and workshops for both adults and youth, at Loyalist College (Belleville, ON), Covenant House (Toronto, ON), the Baxter Centre for Creativity (Bloomfield, ON) and various schools and venues throughout Ontario. He regularly offers encaustic painting and drawing classes and workshops in his own studio.

Creative Beauty
What a wonderful experience see this beautiful art, learn about a medium from the past being used now. Painting with beeswax! Andrew was very warm and welcoming, full of the history of his art and describing his own talent. The property showed rustic beauty in the barn and modern display in the new gallery. The creativity and differences in each piece is definitely worth a visit! Colleen E |
