Encaustic Painting Workshop (3-Hours)

Come and take a fun 3-Hour encaustic painting workshop where students of all skill levels (ages 13 +) can learn about the ancient Greek painting technique that uses natural aromatic melted beeswax and oil paint mixed in for colour!

Instructor Andrew Csafordi is a professional artist/illustrator with experience educating and supporting students. He will offer technical knowledge, encouragement and valuable techniques to help make your painting experience fun and relaxing.

A very friendly medium, the fast drying time allows one to create captivating works that will ignite the imagination. The warm liquid wax is applied to a wooden surface with brushes. Each layer is then gently fused using heat, resulting in a luminescent painting. The results will delight and surprise you!

No experience is necessary. Relax and be inspired while painting in a beautiful relaxing environment in the tranquil countryside. All Workshops take place in the ANDARA studio.

Workshops are available - either Morning (from 9 AM- Noon) or Afternoon (from 2:00-5:00 PM).
A minimum of 2 / Max 6 persons required per workshop.
Minimum Age 13 years. All teens must be accompanies by a parent. Both parent and teen must each pay the full Workshop fee.

Reservations are subject to availability and full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards or e-transfer for payment. A receipt will be provided.

Each workshop requires a Minimum 2 / Maximum 6 Persons. Friend or Family groups of 2 or more can arrange their own dates and times with the instructor.

WORKSHOP FEE:

$200. per person (CDN. plus HST) per person.

All workshops include professional instruction by master encaustic painter, Andrew Csafordi: a workbook, all materials, light refreshments. A minimum of 2 / max of 6 persons are required per workshop.
