Tara Wilkinson is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Through her images, Tara explores themes of nature and human nature, joy, love and spirituality. She has travelled extensively, photographing in over 25 countries.

Below are images from her exhibition "NEWFOUNDLAND" featuring images from the tiny communities dotted along 1,800 km of coastline … all connected by the sea and the rugged beauty of the landscape. Each village reflected its struggles over ​time but also the resilience and determination of the people who have, and still live there.

Through her work, Wilkinson also likes to explore various digital techniques, taking the good bones of an image and applying digital tools to create works that she hopes will bring as much joy as she felt while creating them. The resulting images can sometimes challenge the imagination, and bring to life details one may not have otherwise noticed.

A MUST VISIT IN PEC!

We were lucky to have met Andrew and chat about his amazing work, great PEC hotspots, and awesome vino at Sandbanks winery. He was extremely welcoming and shared his techniques and ideas behind some of his artworks. Both Andrew's paintings and Tara's photographs were nice to explore during our visit!
