​Tara's photography exhibition "AMORE" was held at the Joseph D. Carrier Gallery in Toronto as part of the 2017 Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. The exhibition celebrated not only her love of photography, but her love of Italy’s astounding beauty, culture and people.

Her image "In the Light of Loneliness" (Venice, Italy, 2015) of an elderly man shuffling home through a piazza in Venice, Italy won First Place (Visible World) at the 2016 CLIC Photo Show, and was named winner of the People's Choice Award as voted on by the visitors to the show. 

The image was also selected by a jury and exhibited at the 2021 URBAN Photo Awards + Exhibition in Trieste, Italy.
