Paintings
​Andrew Csafordi's encaustic paintings create a focal point in any room and spark great conversation. Realistic at times, impressionistic at other times, Csafordi creates textured paintings that call out to be touched. Each work takes you on an imaginative voyage.

ANDARA GALLERY AND CANADIAN MUSICIAN ASTRID YOUNG ​ANNOUNCE “VORTEX” … A UNIQUE COLLABORATION OF FINE ART, MUSIC, WINE … and TECHNOLOGY

Exclusive partnership will utilize NFC “tap to play” technology to deliver a unique visitor experience

ANDARA Gallery is thriled to announce its upcoming art-music-wine collaboration with Canadian musician, artist, author and sommelier, ASTRID YOUNG! 

Central to this unique collaboration titled "VORTEX" ... painter Andrew Csafordi and photographer and digital artist Tara Wilkinson will showcase a new exhibition of artworks inspired by songs on Astrid’s newest album, “The Beautiful Can Get Away with Murder.”  Astrid and her band will be performing tracks from her new album at ANDARA Gallery on June 19th and 20th. Tickets for these exclusive 19+ concerts will be available through EventBrite.

ASTRID YOUNG
Canadian Musician, Artist, Author, Sommelier

Astrid Young is a Canadian singer-songwriter-musician with influences that range from classical to heavy rock, with a healthy dose of blues and country in between. Playing music since she was able to walk, she likes to say, “Know my music, and you’ll know me.” Astrid’s discography dates back to 1984.

She’s played and sang on more than forty releases, some her own, but most as a side musician or back-up singer. She has been in a lot of rock bands, and her solo acoustic shows have been compared to “Alice in Chains Unplugged.” Astrid has played stages large and small all over the world. She plays piano, bass, and 12-string guitar (some say like a weapon).

Astrid has released five solo albums: Brainflower, Matinee, Pokalolo Paniolo (as iST), One Night at Giant Rock (produced by Victor DeLorenzo, an original Violent Femme), and her latest, The Beautiful Can Get Away With Murder, produced right here in the County by the legendary Eddie Kramer.
